Sure, each month, the Sun is left the world as it slowly makes its final journey across the sky. But our star doesn't make it every year. Sometimes the Arizona desert skies darken, and the bright ball of fire disappears from view.

This is when I like to break out my Nikon Trailblazer 10×25 ATB Waterproof Black Binoculars. Over the years, I have taken advantage of this phenomenon and used binoculars on a regular basis. So there is no way I was going to miss out on this once in a lifetime event again.

So, with the world's oddball, and possibly dangerous, behavior already bugging me, I had all of my normal gear packed and ready along with some warm clothes just in case it was cold that night. Then, at the last minute, I remembered I was out and about with my Nikon Trailblazer 10×25 ATB Waterproof Black Binoculars, so I brought them along, even though I wasn't really sure they'd be needed.

They were.

I got to the park with a few of my friends and some lawn chairs. We put them out by the parking lot, and waited. We waited a long time, and at least once or twice we gave up hope on the eclipse happening. But it did. We were all still getting to see it from the same place we started, and it seemed like that would be the most convenient location. Unfortunately, others had tried to squeeze their way into that same spot and forgotten to respect the rules of the place (wildlife). So, as we are in the middle of waiting it's almost to the point of being angry for people trampling through our stuff. When all of a sudden, we all looked up, and could see the moon slowly pass in front of the sun for a few seconds. It was great, and despite the fact that we had a lot of things as close to real as you can get, and the ability to take photos like crazy, it just wasn't doing it for me.

So I put my Nikon Trailblazer 10×25 ATB Waterproof Black Binoculars in their case and went to a different part of the park to enjoy the eclipse.
