- Built-in cup holder
As far as defying gravity goes, the Wise 8WD 588PLS Series standard high-back fishing boat seat has nothing on me. I was born with a double-jointed hip, had surgery to correct it as a child, and I've walked with a pronounced limp ever since. The Wise 8WD 588PLS Series high-back fishing boat seat not only supports my back when I sit in it, it also helps to keep my hips from going out of alignment. This after having a surgery at the age of five that fixed what I was born with.
This seat, however, is a load of other interesting things, my affinity for them being much higher than my affinity for myself.
The Wise 8WD 588PLS Series standard high-back fishing boat seat is, well, as the name suggests, a fishing boat seat. It appears to be comprised of a molded plastic seat frame surrounded by a variety of other parts. It's incredibly lightweight, compressing down to a mere 1.8 kilograms.
It sits at a height of 17 inches but is not overly wide or deep. Its depth is under 21 inches and its height is longer than it is wide.
The whitewall vinyl used on the Wise 8WD 588PLS Series standard high-back fishing boat seat is 28 ounces of marine-grade embossed vinyl designed to deploy easily, resist fading, and to mold itself to each user's body without requiring any adhesives. A vinyl bottom pad with ultra-wicking material helps keep the seat dry and the seat from slipping in the boat, wet conditions notwithstanding.
The Wise 8WD 588PLS Series standard high-back fishing boat seat also ships with motorcycle-style fasteners that are used to attach the seat to any standard BIA 4 Bolt, 5-1/4" bolt pattern pedestal system or swivel.
The Wise 8WD 588PLS Series standard high-back fishing boat seat is compatible with the majority of fishing boats that use an NTS pad system, and it's compatible with most of the other mounting systems out there.
